Consumer Scientist, Sensory and Consumer Science
Maria has a PhD and post-doctoral background in food marketing & consumer behaviour from MAPP, Aarhus University. At Arla Foods, Maria works within sensory & consumer science, as part of Research & Development, often in collaboration with universities. Specifically, Maria works with topics around understanding drivers of consumer health behavior, effects of nutrition and health communication including on-pack claims on consumers; also, affective, emotional and rational reactions from consumers when tasting products. She focuses on the right, best-practice and ethical correct measurement tools from qualitative as well as quantitative angles. She has published a number of academic papers.
