Stuart has considerable experience in senior client-side and agency roles.
On the client-side, Stuart spent a number of years at the BBC, becoming Head of New Media Research and then Head of Pan-BBC research, with responsibility for flagship audience insight projects, consumer trends and marketing research. He also helped to develop the corporation’s ten-year strategic plan, focusing on the changing digital landscape.
Stuart left the BBC to set up Essential Research, an award-winning boutique agency based in London. Following the sale of Essential Research, Stuart joined The Sound.
He is a former winner of the MRS ‘Best Paper’ and ‘New Consumer Insights’ awards and has spoken at a variety of conferences on subjects as diverse as storytelling, mobile advertising and the implications of tablet adoption.
