Sophia began her career in market research in the entertainment industry in 2009, working for the Walt Disney Company, Universal Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox in London. Five years later, she shifted from TV and film to gaming, joining King to explore the mobile match 3 genre and help the company expand its reach to attract the mid-core gaming audience as well as casual players. During her time at King, she moved to Barcelona to manage player insights for their largest game studio. Now, she brings her diverse experience to Wargaming Berlin, helping the team create gaming experiences that exceed player expectations. Since moving into gaming, Sophia has been fascinated by how mobile gaming has evolved to become the most popular gaming platform in the world, and how the rapid acceleration of mobile technology has helped shape this trend.
