Scientist by training, Melissa started her career at P&G and 7 years later moved to Unilever where she currently sits within the Consumer Insights function of the Oral Care category. She is extremely passionate about brands with a social purpose and advertising that breaks stereotypes. Along with the Unilever Brand team she joined, she helped in landing Unilever’s commitment to #Unstereotype all their communication and believes that progressive and thought provoking advertising has the power to change the perception of people and the world that they live in.
She has extensive understanding of D&E markets and tapping into gender aspirations there to truly help brands serve their consumers.
